Toilet Clogs
If your toilet won't flush properly, there may be a clog in the system. You can typically dislodge clogs using a plunger. Simply press the plunger into place over the drain and use the handle to create suction; pump the plunger up and down to push the clog through the pipe.
Sink/Shower Clogs
If your sink or shower isn't draining properly, you may be able to clear the clog by pouring boiling water down the drain. Do not use chemicals to unclog the pipe, as this could damage the system.
Most hardware stores sell hand augers which you can also use to unclog the pipe.
